Welding repairs

Before and after

The same part on the way in and on the way out. Cracks welded, ground smooth, and put back to work.

Crack in tractor sheet metal, sanded down to bare steel before welding
Before
The same panel after welding, ground smooth with the crack gone
After

Cracked sheet metal, welded and blended smooth

Bracket split through beside its mounting pin
Before
The same bracket rejoined with fresh weld beads
After

Cracked bracket, welded back solid

Restorations

Restorations, start to finish

We stage every restoration: mechanical work first, then blasting, paint, and finish. You decide how far it goes.

John Deere 3010, restored for Dan of Stoughton

Dan's father's 3010 came into the shop worn and faded. We went through the mechanical systems, replaced the exhaust stack, and refinished it top to bottom. It looks and runs the way it did new, and you can read Dan's review of the project on the home page.

Mechanical systems → Repaired the PTO → Bought and fabricated custom parts → Exhaust stack → Paint and finish
